  • Uni Term 2
  • Study Period 4

eVALUate is Curtin’s online student feedback system. Students can give feedback about their units and about teaching staff. Feedback is automatically gathered about coursework units, however if you would like confidential feedback about your teaching in units running in the above study periods, you will need to request your evaluation(s) online between 1 April and 10 May.

Please be aware – if you don’t register by midnight on 10 May, it won’t be possible to get feedback about your teaching. This is a system constraint.

Register now to receive feedback.

Students will be able to give their feedback from 13 May until 30 June.

Why take part in eVALUate?

Student feedback gives academic staff the opportunity to assess the effectiveness of their teaching and identify strengths or areas needing improvement.

We offer a range of resources and support to help you understand the feedback and implement improvements to enhance your teaching skills. Feedback reports are also valuable to identify strengths and support your career development.

Information for unit coordinators

  • Please notify your teaching team that teaching evaluation requests are now open as some staff may not receive this communication.
  • Unit coordinators can also manage their Unit Summary Report (USR) via their My Summary page. USRs are published by default so if you wish to unpublish your USR you can do so at any stage prior to the release of reports on 10 July (17 July for Quarter 2 units). Failure to unpublish your USR implies authorisation of the information being published.
  • If you’re a unit coordinator and your unit(s) don’t appear on your My Summary page, this means that you’re not in our system as the unit coordinator. Please contact us at evaluate@curtin.edu.au for assistance in resolving this issue.
