OASIS & elsie Communications Centre – phase one

Digital User Experience & Insights have re-imagined how key messaging from the University is surfaced and accessed by students within OASIS & elsie.

  • Current Alerts are visually overwhelming for students when they login
  • Alerts take up prime real estate in OASIS
  • Alerts look old & outdated

Phase one will see Alerts surfaced in elsie for the first time. It will also move Alerts into the new ‘Communications Centre’.

Additionally, students will see a ‘notification bar’ in the OASIS and elsie site headers that provides access to the Communications Centre from any location within the apps.

The new Communications Centre will be made available to students in OASIS & elsie in the week commencing 20 May 2019.
