Work Essentials modules

Curtin’s Work Essentials are made up of a variety of training modules formerly known as SOL/Mandatory compliance training. An email will be sent to you when you are due to do a module.

Completion of the Work Essentials modules is compulsory for all Curtin staff. The modules provide information to help you carry out your job productively and understand your responsibility as a staff member. Legislation and policies change so staff are required to resist the modules every two- three years depending on the module.

Work Essentials modules are competency tested, if you believe you are already familiar with the subject matter you can go straight to the test.

The 2019 modules have been updated and take into account feedback provided by staff through the evaluation link at the end of the module.
